Last Call Ministries is a group of dedicated Christians from all walks of life that include volunteers from different denominations working together for the good of all. We are dedicated to teaching the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ to everyone we meet. LCM was founded in 1981 by Rev. Robert Behn and his wife Bonnie. From the onset, we were appalled that abortion was legal in America. Our first endeavors were to reach Senior High School students in the suburbs surrounding Buffalo, New York. We have accomplished this by passing out literature at local High and Junior High Schools. This group of Christians are dedicated to unborn children from death and mothers and fathers from committing the ungodly act of killing their own offspring. We offer to these women all kinds of assistance so they can give birth to their children. From the beginning, we quickly encountered surprising resistance from school administrations, teachers, local churches, and the public at large. On the positive side, we were widely accepted by the students.

As the ministry grew, we added educational mailings to homes, educational teachings, and television programs. Other involvement's included the 1992 " Spring of Life". We are still active in national events in many cities across America. The most recent national event was " Operation Save America" held in Buffalo in April of 1999.

Because of the dedicated work of the volunteers, many women have accepted Christ and hundreds of babies are alive today. Through our efforts of educating the people both young and old, abortion in Erie County has been on the decline. Now, instead of six abortion clinics, Buffalo has only two. Today only two hospitals, Children's and Buffalo General, continue to perform abortions instead of four which previously did - - ECMC, Children's, Buffalo General, and Millard Fillmore Gates Circle.

Our sidewalk counselors, prayer warriors, and educational sign bearers have had a huge impact in Western New York. We continue to actively encourage men and women to choose life and be blessed by God instead of choosing death and the curse it brings. We offer help to those who are about to make a wrong choice, by offering them a better, more intelligent and Godly decision. Many women who chose life after seeing our signs, reading our literature, or talking to our counselors have been truly set free to live a joyful, fruitful life with Christ.
