Hebrews 6:9 says  "But, beloved, we are convinced of better things concerning you, and things that accompany salvation, though we are speaking in this way"</div> <div> Yes, there are better things that accompany salvation. It is those things we need to use in our lives with confidence.   We can be assured that we have these things through faith.</div> <div> We can go as far back as Genesis, chapter 11 and the tower of babble to begin to understand what is available to us through our walk with our Lord Jesus Christ.  </div> <div>     Genesis 1:1-9 says;  "Now the whole earth used the same language and the same words.  It came about as they journeyed east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there.  They said to one another, "Come, let us make bricks and burn them thoroughly."   And they used brick for stone, and they used tar for mortar.  They said, "Come, let us build for ourselves a city, and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let us make for ourselves a name, otherwise we will be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth."   The Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.  The Lord said, "Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language.  And this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them.   Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another's speech."  So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of the whole earth; and they stopped building the city.  Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of the whole earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of the whole earth."</div> <div>     This incident at the tower Of Babble can be confusing until we really understand what is happening here. Understanding this incident is like understanding any other scripture.  Understanding can only come by revelation from God. It was a good amount of time and prayer before I was able to see what God was telling me through this passage of scripture. Just like anything else, once we see with the understanding that God has given us, it becomes so simple. Unfortunately, as it was in Genesis 11, it continues today. Everyone is trying to get to God through a means other than that which God has ordained. They wanted to "build a tower to heaven" using man's way instead of following the way God had made for them. The world continues in its folly even in our present day.   The world tries to find ways to get to heaven by doing good works or by convincing themselves and others that God is so loving he will forgive anything they do without the presence of true repentance - abortion, homosexuality, etc.   God's forgiveness and grace are taken for granted and misrepresented.   This is a lie many churches have embraced.   They are blinded to the fact that God is also a just God and must punish unrepented sin. Those of us who have had the privilege of having eyes to see the truth and ears to hear the words have been blessed indeed. This we know we must continue - to have eyes to see and ears to hear the wonderful truths we have been privileged to know. The truths we must speak until we go home, like the saints before us, to be with our God. Oh how blessed we are to have this PRIVILEGE to be at the abortion altars of Satan until we, through Christ, have the victory and can glorify the Lord Jesus for what He has done.</div> <bR> <div>   </div> <div> Finally from Hebrews 10:36, "For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised."</div> <div> <B>_______________________________________________________________________________________________</B></div> <bR> <bR> <div> WHEN THERE'S NO WHERE TO TURN</div> <bR> <div> ~~~~~~~~~~~~ George Tillers Women's Health Care Services. This place I call the Tomb is distinctive in that it offers these satanic services.</div> <div> 1. It kills children up to 9 months or just before birth.</div> <div> 2. He has a local minister from the Methodist Church baptize the babies. </div> <div> The Methodist Church has just removed this so-called minister because of an affair.</div> <div> 3. Tiller offers a type of funeral service for the child that includes pictures of the dead baby for the parents, flowers and a period of mourning so they won't experience any guilt for their sin.</div> <div> 4. He then disposes of the little lifeless bodies in an incinerator. The ashes and smoke from the babies permeates the air in the surrounding area and can be seen falling on people's shoes while they are walking in the neighborhood.</div> <div> None of this could be done without the permission of the federal and local governments, the court system, law enforcement, the citizens of America and the Church of Jesus Christ. </div> <div> The smoke and ashes rising to heaven are a stench in the nostrils of God.</div> <div> Where do we turn when there is no place left to turn to? </div> <bR> <div> Since Christians have been fighting the horror of abortion we have turned to the courts, the presidential office, the congress, law enforcement, the Supreme Court, the citizens and the Church of Jesus Christ. All have turned a blind eye and deaf ear to the cries of the innocent. At the same time they have heard the shouts of the pro-death women's movement, the greed of the abortionists, the stupidity of government and court systems and last and most importantly the apathy, fear, and indifference of the church. </div> <div> So now where do we turn? The answer is louder and clearer than the shouts of the selfish mothers and fathers, those that support their sin and the indifference of the church.</div> <div> When Elijah thought he was the last prophet priest left in Israel he had nowhere to go no one to help but God Himself. At last we face the same dilemma that Elijah faced, no where to turn but to God. Remember Elijah was vastly outnumbered and out manned. The government was against him, the people were against him, and the powerful Jezebel was against him. (See 2 Kings 9:22 - And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcraft's are so many?) In today's society we see Jezebels spirit represented in the women's choice organizations such as National Organization for Women (NOW), National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) and others. We also see they have as much power and influence in today's society as Jezebel had in hers. Never the less we see as in Elijah's day when he focused on God he overcame all these obstacles and called upon God to bring down fire from heaven destroying the works of the enemy, satan. Elijah by himself couldn't make the fire fall, couldn't make the water burn, couldn't destroy the evil BUT HE KNEW HIS FAITH IN GOD WOULD. God did respond to Elijah's faith, just as He will respond to our faith when directed to Him to bring fire down from heaven and burn out the rubble in our society (sin). Yes, we like Elijah? Have no where to turn but to God. And we know He will respond for us just as He responded to Elijah when we have the faith to believe and trust in Him. The words of Christ in Revelations 2:20 speak loud and clear to the church today. Rev. 2:20 But I have this against thee, that thou suffers the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess; and she teaches and seduces my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed to idols. Yes, we the church are responsible today for permitting the sin of abortion just as Jesus said the church was in Revelations 2:20.</div> <div> So now what do we do? We do what the disciple did in Luke 11:1 when they asked Jesus how to pray. We pray more fervently believing our God to move on our behalf and on behalf of the unborn children to bring an end to abortion in America. God will bring down fire for heaven today just as He did in Elijah's day.</div> <bR> <bR> <div> <B>_______________________________________________________________________________________________</B></div> <bR> <bR> <div> Dear Saints.</div> <div>       The tragedy of the church in America is it failure to heed the warnings that are set before it. Most of the time the church of Christ fails to recognize and act upon the warnings God gives to His church through prophesy from His anointed. Often we as Christians think prophesy is hard to discern and recognize. This attitude goes directly against the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ as He taught in Mat 16:1-3 Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. 2 He answered and said to them, "When it is evening you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red'; 3 "and in the morning, 'It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening' Hypocrites! You know</div> <div> how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.</div> <div>       Our Lords message is very clear. It is easy to know what is going to</div> <div> happen simply by being aware of what is going on around you the "signs of the times." The failure of the church to read the signs of the times goes as far back as removing prayer from public school. This failure has cost the church our nation and us individually a price we continue to pay today. When abortion came to be vogue in America and accepted by the church, it was just another sign of the times that was ignored. Then came God's rescue movement, still the church failed to see. The results was the failure of that movement to bring and end to abortion and put the skids on the moral decline of our nation and God's church. During this period many pro-life leaders warned America's churches and crisis pregnancy centers that if the rescue movement was defeated the next step for the enemy was to go after the so called safe havens that they believed was the "Christian way to handle things" Now that the warnings have come to pass as the attack by The government of New York State (Spitzer) on the crisis pregnancy centers begins it is appropriate to remind everyone of the second part of those past prophesies, namely that the church is next and it will not be long before they will attack any church that fails to follow their orders to speak only that which the government permits. Never will happen you say? Well most never believed school prayer abortion homosexuality etc. would be permitted either.</div> <div> <B>WAKE UP AMERICA</B> before its to late!</div> <bR> <div> <B>______________________________________________________________________________________________</B></div> <bR> <bR> <div> <B>WHO BARES THE GUILT?</B></div> <div> By Rev. Robert Behn</div> <bR> <div>        As smoke rises from the ashes in New York City the nation and the world's attention is turned towards the evil that has committed this heinous crime. A crime of passion that has shed the innocent blood of thousands of victims both male and female young and old. The question is who is responsible for the carnage those who did the detestable act or whose sins brought it about. God's word clearly says bloodshed begets bloodshed He also tells us whatsoever a man sows so shall he reap. What we as a nation have sowed in shedding innocent blood on a daily basis at abortion clinics has come home to roost upon all of us. Yes whether we like it or not we are all guilty of permitting the sin of abortion in our nation. This includes you and I (Pro-life) pro-choice and the entire network of our society. It is best explained in the by Christ himself from Luke Chapter 13 vs. 1-5.</div> <div>        Luke 13:1 Now on the same occasion there were some present who reported to Him about the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.</div> <div>        Luke 13:2 And He answered and said to them, "Do you suppose that these Galileans were greater sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered this fate? 3 "I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. 4 "Or do you suppose that those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, were worse culprits than all the men who live in Jerusalem? 5 "I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."</div> <bR> <div>       All of us need to get serious about sin and repentance. Only repentance and God's forgiveness can end our depravity. We need to act before anymore-innocent blood is shed.</div> <bR> <bR> <div> God's very best to you and your loved ones. Today many innocent Americans and their families paid dearly because of the tragic terrorists attacks upon the lives of innocent people. We as Christians can only feel grief for our nation. A nation that has turned it's back on God and is now paying the price for neglecting the responsibility that come as Christians. Pastors and priests have neglected to stand firm in the preaching of God's word from their pulpits calling our nation to repentance for the sins it has and is committing. We the church have neglected to stand firm in the public square and have refused to follow Christ's examples. We have refused to throw the moneychangers from the temples, the schools, the civil government our court system, news media, entertainment media, and most of all the church itself. We as a nation have effectively removed the name of Jesus Christ and His teachings from our society. Christmas has become a winter holiday, Good Friday a day we kill unborn children, Easter an egg hunt, and our hearts a place were money is more important than life.</div> <bR> <div>       Upon hearing of this terrible tragedy and immediately going to prayer, our hearts were deeply saddened for this nations inability to cope with God. In Christ's place, we have permitted every filthy sin imaginable. From abortion, homosexuality, divorce, child sacrifice and any other perversion we can think of. All of this has left us vulnerable to the evil attacks upon our lives and those of our spouse, siblings, children, and grandchildren. We can only pray a prayer of agreement with Nehemiah when he prayed for His nation. It is certainly appropriate for America today. </div> <bR> <div>       Neh 1:1 The words of Nehemiah the son of Hachaliah. It came to pass in the month of Chislev, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the citadel, 2 that Hanani one of my brethren came with men from Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews who had escaped, who had survived the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem. 3 And they said to me, "The survivors who are left from the captivity in the province are there in great distress and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem is also broken down, and its gates are burned with fire." 4 So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven. 5 And I said: "I pray, LORD God of heaven, O great and awesome God, You who keep Your covenant and mercy with those who love You and observe Your commandments 6 "please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open, that You may hear the prayer of Your servant which I pray before You now, day and night, for the children of Israel Your servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel which we have sinned against You. Both my father's house and I have sinned. 7 "We have acted very corruptly against You, and have not kept the commandments, the statutes, nor the ordinances which You commanded Your servant Moses. 8 "Remember, I pray, the word that You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, 'If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations; 9 'but if you return to Me, and keep My commandments and do them, though some of you were cast out to the farthest part of the</div> <div> heavens, yet I will gather them from there, and bring them to the place which I have chosen as a dwelling for My name.' 10 "Now these are Your servants and Your people, whom You have redeemed by Your great power, and by Your strong hand. </div> <div> 11 "O Lord, I pray, please let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who desire to fear Your name; and let Your servant prosper this day, I pray, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.?
